Consultant – Information Security
As a consultant, you are responsible for implementing security controls across our growing clientele based on industry leading security frameworks and tools. You will be investigating security incidents escalated by the SOC teams and implement sufficient controls to mitigate any identified risks. This position requires a candidate with great customer facing skills, strong written and verbal communication skills along with a great passion for cyber security.

QUALIFICATIONS, CERTIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology
- Minimum of 4 years hands-on experience in similar working environment
- Experience working in a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Microsoft/CISCO certifications are a plus
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with our SOC teams to investigate and remediate security events and incidents
- Investigate Client security incidents per Incident Response Policy
- Document security incidents, assess the damage and maintain communication with clients
- Work with the IT teams to remediate and maintain a high-security standard
- Work with our Clients’ IT teams to install and implement technical controls and security measures that protect our clients’ systems and infrastructure
- Investigate available tools and countermeasures, work with Clients’ IT to remedy the detected vulnerabilities
- Perform vulnerability assessments to uncover vulnerabilities that need to be addressed
- Work with our Clients to implement, automate Knowbe4 or other Security awareness and training programs for our clients
- Present discovered vulnerabilities, security risks and recommended remediations to Clients and their IT teams
- Support and manage our internal tools
- Document our processes and systematize our operations.
- Research security enhancements and make recommendations to management.
- Stay up-to-date on information security trends and security standards
- Achieve and maintain a positive rapport with clients and work to give them the best possible service
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare and attend weekly, monthly and quarterly Client risk management meetings
- Develop in-depth knowledge of our service catalog and how it relates to our Clients’ needs
- Maintain in-depth documentation processes/procedures related to your duties/responsibilities
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Strong technical knowledge in Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, Office 365, SQL)
- Strong LAN/WAN knowledge
- Strong virtualization knowledge
- Nexpose Rapid 7
- Experience with computer network penetration testing and techniques
- Understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, and IDPS concepts
- Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities and explain how to avoid them
- High energy, drive and a quick learner
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Monday to Friday 7am -4pm CST (5.30pm -2.30am IST time) or 8am -5pm CST (6.30pm-3.30am IST time)
